Riverwalk

See the beauty of the Baraboo River as you walk on the Baraboo Riverwalk.

The Baraboo Riverwalk, a joint effort between the City of Baraboo and the Baraboo Kiwanis Club, consists of 3 miles of developed Riverwalk between Lower Ochsner Park and the Maxwell-Potter Conservancy.

What better way to get some exercise than on a relaxing walk along the Baraboo River. The Baraboo River is a free flowing river, free of any dams, the longest stretch of U.S. river restored through dam removal.

There are 36 park benches along the route to sit and relax while viewing and listening to the flow of the river.

The Riverwalk is also great for walking your dogs as there are dog waste stations positioned throughout the path. Bicyclists are also welcome.

The Riverwalk connects multiple city parks together to include; the Maxwell-Potter Conservancy, Kiwanis Park, Statz Park, Mary Rountree Evans Park, Lower Ochsner Park, Attrige Park, and Ochsner Park and Zoo.
