City of Baraboo Adopt a Storm Drain Program

The Adopt a Storm Drain program was created to involve the community in helping protect our shared water resources and reduce localized flooding. Many communities around the country have established similar programs that provide an opportunity for the public to assist with these efforts. It can also be very fulfilling to take an active approach in helping protect our natural resources.

 

Here’s how it works

1.     Go to the City of Baraboo Adopt a Storm Drain Web page by clicking here.

2.     Search the interactive map to find storm drains in your neighborhood.

3.     Sign up to adopt a drain near you.

4.     Clear your adopted drains on a schedule that works for you. It is especially useful to clear drains before rain events!

5.     Begin logging your clean-ups.

 

The cleaning information submitted will be helpful to the City when preparing our annual report to DNR. Thank you for your support and helping to protect our waterways and aquatic life!
