Mission Statement: The City Clerk's mission is to maintain and provide public records, quality services and assistance to the public, elected officials and City Departments relative to the functions of government in a courteous, timely and cost effective manner.

Personnel: Our department is comprised of the City Clerk, two Office Assistants, and nearly 100 part time poll workers.

February 18, 2025 - Spring Primary 

April 1, 2025 - Spring Election

Nomination Paperwork for Alderpersons

  Residents can also visit MyVote to register to vote and/or request an absentee ballot be mailed to them. Note: In order to register at MyVote, your Driver's License must include your current address.  

          Paper applications requesting an absentee ballot are also acceptable.  Please complete, and mail back to the Clerk's Office, the Application for Absentee Ballot Form. Please remember to include a copy of your photo ID.  Applications received without an acceptable photo ID will be returned as incomplete.
