OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL
The swimming pool is located in Campbell Park on South Boulevard and will be open June 7 thru August 24, 2025, with a few exceptions.

No evening (6:30-8:30pm) open swim session on July 2, July 4, & July 31.

Further Information can be obtained by calling the pool at 355-2764 beginning June 7th.

During poor weather, call the pool directly for operation status but weather cancellations will also be posted on our website & Facebook page.

*Family passes include up to 4 people living at the same address, there is an additional $25 charge per person for families over 4 people. (Children 3 & Under are free with a paid adult)

Pool passes will go on sale on May 5. The most efficient way to purchase your pool pass is via our online registration site at https://baraboo.recdesk.com/Community/Home prior to opening day. (however, if you do not already have an approved online account, there may be a wait time for account approvals as they are only regularly processed Monday-Friday from 7:30-4:30pm) SEASON PASSES ARE NOT SOLD AT THE POOL

For those who do not wish to purchase a season pass: The single use admission fee is $5.00 per person which can be paid at the pool ONLY by cash or Check w/current ID.

Adaptive Open Swim
Monday thru Friday

Adaptive Open Swim is designed for people with disabilities and their family members. Music will not be played during this time, lifeguards will only use whistles in emergencies, and the maximum number of people allowed will be lower than the normal open swim time. Lanes will still be reserved for adult lap swim at the same time.

*No adaptive open swim on Friday, July 4.

Junior Lifeguards

Junior Lifeguards is designed to help participants learn about what it takes to be a lifeguard. Participants learn about the equipment lifeguards use, the swimming skills needed, and how lifeguards preform saves. After the program is complete, junior guards will be invited to shadow a guard for a shift sometime during the remainder of the summer.
*Note: Junior Lifeguard is not a "learn to swim" program. Participants should have swimming skills prior to the start of the program. Completion of this program does NOT make the participant a certified lifeguard.

Afternoon Open Swim Age Rules - Children ages 8 and under must be supervised at all times by someone age 14 or older. Those ages 14-17 cannot be responsible for more than 2 children. Any children that are non-swimmers or swimmers requiring use of a lifejacket must be within arm reach of their supervisor. Children ages 9-13 who can swim and don’t require use of a lifejacket can visit with another swimmer ages 9 or older.

Evening Open Swim Age Rules - Those with pool passes will be able to follow the same age rules in the evenings (6:30-8:30pm) as listed for the afternoon open swim times. Kids ages 13 & under paying the daily admission fee must be accompanied by a parent or guardian ages 18 or older during the evening open swim hours.

Sunday Family Fun Day - Sundays at the pool is Family Fun Day! The pool will be open from 1:00-7:00pm. Bring your pool noodles, floaties, & toys for some fun with the whole family for the entire day at the pool. All children (ages 17 and under) visiting the pool on Sundays must be accompanied by someone ages 18 or older

Lifeguard Appreciation Day - Thursday, July 31 is International Lifeguard Appreciation Day. We will have special lifeguard-themed activities throughout the open swim time. The Campbell Park Outdoor Pool will not have evening open swim on this day due to a staff pool party.
