Lower Ochsner Park

Lower Ochsner Park is an 8.68 acre park located along the Baraboo River, which provides great opportunities for bird watching and fishing.

The Riverwalk travels along the edge of the park, with ten benches, providing exceptional views of the river.

There is a beautiful memorial of the SS Tuscania as you enter the park. Which was donated by the Sauk County Historical Society on November 11, 2018.

There is a wide open field which is perfect for soccer, football, lacrosse, there is even a backstop build to allow for baseball and softball games. The fee to reserve the field is $40, however anyone can use it if it isn’t reserved.

The 1884 Milwaukee Iron Works Bridge goes over the Baraboo which connect Lower  Ochsner Park to the Ochsner Park and Zoo.
