Statz Park is a 2.84 acre park bordering the Baraboo River near central Baraboo.
There is a beautiful ball field which is maintained and groomed by the Parks Department. The field area has two dugouts, bleachers, a water fountain, and male and female restrooms. You can take in some batting practice at the batting cages.
There is a shelter available, with a grill, on a first come first serve basis, between the outfield of the ball park and the Baraboo River, next to the playground.
Park the car and use Statz Park as your starting point for a nice walk along the Baraboo River on the Riverwalk.
