Puzzled & Possessed Puzzle Race
Step into the spirit realm of
brain-bending fun! In the Puzzled & Possessed Puzzle Race, teams of 2 or 4
will face off in a spine-tingling showdown to complete a 500 or 250-piece
jigsaw puzzle. No phones, no lifelines—just your wits, your teammates, and the
haunting tick of the clock.
Bring your favorite snacks to keep the spirits high and your puzzle-solving
sharp—every good puzzler knows the power of proper brain fuel!
Teams of 2 or 4 will battle against the clock (and each other) to complete a
jigsaw puzzle. Choose the division that fits your crew: a 250-piece puzzle for
an easier, kid-friendly challenge or a 500-piece puzzle geared toward
experienced and adult puzzlers.
Chamber Bucks will be given for prizes for the 1st place teams in both the 2 person teams and 4 person teams in each puzzle division!

Boo at the Zoo
Join us for some Halloween fun! Come in your best costume for trick or treating, making enrichment for some of the animals, enjoy animal encounters, see animal bones and biofacts, and touch a truck is back! Plus, several local organizations will be hosting tables this year!

Get a head start on Halloween fun with a safe and festive way to hand out candy! Looking for a fun way to share treats but do not have a good spot at home? Reserve a free table and decorate it however you would like to create your own spooky stop for trick-or-treaters.
The day before Halloween, little ghosts, goblins, and costumed characters are invited to walk from table to table, collect treats, and enjoy a fun indoor trick-or-treating experience. It is the perfect way to celebrate early, stay warm, and get into the Halloween spirit!

Get ready for an action packed evening
of foam blasting fun! Celebrate Thanksgiving with friendly Nerf battles,
exciting team games, and obstacle-filled challenges. Participants will compete
in a variety of games that test teamwork, strategy, and accuracy in a safe and
supervised environment.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own blasters (no automatic or ball
blasters, please). We’ll provide all the darts, and a limited number of
blasters will be available for those who need one. All participants should
bring their own eye protection (safety glasses, goggles, or clear glasses).

Get ready for a sweet winter mission! As the sun sets, hundreds of candy canes (and various other prizes) will be hidden throughout the park, just waiting to be found. Grab your flashlight, bundle up, and bring your best hunting skills for a magical evening of glowing fun.
We’re looking for businesses, groups, or individuals to help supply candy canes for this community event. All contributors will be featured in our event advertising and recognized for their support! Reach out to parkrec@baraboowi.gov for details on how to participate.
