55+ Social & Carnival

Enjoy carnival-style booths, music, socializing, and refreshments. Come for the games, stay for the memories, and enjoy a morning filled with fun and community spirit.

Ochsner Park Zoo Open for Winterfest

Ochsner Park Zoo will be open every day 9am-3:30pm during Winterfest and is free to visit. The Zoo celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2026. Stay tuned for details on the Centennial Celebration happening July 25.

Frost & Found: A Winter Makers Market

Hosted by: City of Baraboo Parks, Recreation, & Forestry Department
Celebrate local creativity and entrepreneurship. Participating brick-and-mortar businesses will be listed on a Winterfest map. Home-based businesses and independent creators may reserve space at the Civic Center.

5K Run/Walk

The annual Winterfest 5K Fun Run/Walk. Participants are divided into age groups with awards for top finishers.

Cocoa Crawl

Tour Baraboo while enjoying cocoa at participating locations. Fundraiser for Friends of Baraboo Parks sponsored by Modern Woodmen and Downtown Baraboo.

Snow Time to Waste Puzzle Race

Teams of two or four race to complete a 500-piece winter puzzle. Snacks allowed.
